James is aged 13. According to his family, at the age of 4 he suffered severe swelling in his body. This was treated medically and the swelling subsided. Unfortunately again at the age of 6 the swelling returned and a diagnosis of TB of the spine was given. The TB had already caused damage to the hips and spine bones, fusing the vertebrae and tightening the tissues and joints causing them to be pulled out of alignment. To complicate matters further James was born with a congenital condition causing further issues.
